Michael C. O'Donnell is from Washington DC.  Once a resident of NYC, Michael now resides in Newburyport, Massachusetts.  He has been to several countries in Europe and to several island nations in the Caribbean.

Michael is always seeking adventure, most notably, in a red helicopter over the Swiss Alps in Zermatt and skiing in the French Alps in Meribel and Courchevel.  Other journeys have included hiking the French and Italian Alps near Mont Blanc and being a Cessna Skyhawk student pilot.

In addition to still photography, Michael was a filmmaker and has made a short film. His cameras of choice are a Leica MA, a Leica M7,  a Leica Q, a Hasselblad Stellar. 

In the summer, Michael enjoys swimming in the Atlantic Ocean at Plum Island, Massachusetts.  Michael enjoys driving his blue convertible from Germany.

Over the last 13 years in Newburyport, Michael has had 25 photography shows at Chococoa winter street, Middle Street Foods, Souffles, Caffe di Siena, Plum Island Coffee Roasters, Nutcracker Bakery, and the Newburyport Art Association.
